Quality Drinking Water

The quality of the drinking water in Aruba is one of the best in the world, even compared to the best bottled water brands. The water is pure distilled water, remilitarized in a modern system, where the water absorbs important minerals like calcium but also oxygen. This gives the water a delicious flavor. The drinking water from the tap is safe and does not contain any danger for consumption, there is no need to boil or any treatment; this is a luxury that most water suppliers around the world do not have. Very few countries have this luxury.
 
W.E.B. Aruba N.V. has valid procedures to secure the safety and quality of the supply of water. At the W.E.B. Aruba N.V. we maintain a program of daily testing of the after quality, this for the chemical parts. As an example of our excellent quality we can mention that test are also done at 21 strategic sites located all over the Island once a month. The World health Organization WHO standard for dissolved salts in drinking water is at 600 parts per million (ppm). The water in Aruba has levels between 5 to 15 ppm of salts, or 40 times better. The government Lab (Landslaboratorium) does the bacteriological testing twice a month at the same strategic sites mentioned. The amount of bacteria is consistently lower than levels that can be detected, so a very high level of purity and cleanliness.
