W.E.B. Aruba N.V. became an independent company in January 1992. W.E.B. Aruba N.V. and N.V. ELMAR were incorporated as separate companies into Utilities Aruba NV, a holding company with the Government of Aruba as the sole shareholder.

A commitment towards the environment and our community.

Drinking water is a necessity and a valuable commodity which must be protected.  W.E.B. Aruba N.V. uses natural resources (sea water) in its processes but at the same time committed towards environmental protection. W.E.B. Aruba N.V. has taken the necessary steps to reduce any adverse effects on our environment. Modern systems were installed in our boilers to burn fuel  optimally, thereby, reducing the emission of gases. In addition, a program to prevent water waste was implemented to educate the public about this precious resource.  Educating and supporting our community is part of our vision and W.E.B. Aruba N.V. has established a comprehensive policy of supporting community and social services.
